9th July 2018
The Healthier Wigan team have really got in the Wellfest mood and been around the borough this week talking to local people about The Healthier Wigan Partnership and health and social care integration. We’ve seen table tennis and drumming at The Festival of Ageing at the DW stadium on Thursday. The Rotary community day in Wigan town centre on Saturday was packed and showed the wide variety of groups within the area; the sunshine was out and it was great to see so much support for everything that is happening locally. The week was topped off with our daring director Rebecca Murphy and star Stephen Sinclair acing the wall at Wrightington Hospital followed by a nice cuppa at the WWL tea party, celebrating NHS 70th but at the same time raising funds for Three Wishes charity.
